How does our Carbon Program work?
Uncover your farm's potential
We perform the initial carbon potential assessment, after which our consultants will help you develop a practical carbon sequestration plan for your farm.
Start applying sustainable practices
Start planning your crop rotations and annual soil coverage, avoid soil compaction and excessive tillage, and use precision fertilisation and other climate-friendly methods.
Discover other benefits
Not only do these actions qualify you for carbon credits, but the quality of your soil will improve, you will reduce costs for inputs, and you'll have better access to future financing.
How does our Carbon Program work?
Carbon potential assessment
Having a carbon consultation is an initial snapshot of a farm's baseline carbon footprint, to understand the sources of emissions, and which areas of the farm operations can be improved.
Generating Carbon Credits
We calculate the carbon credits generated on your farm based on reduced CO2 emissions and increased carbon levels in the soil. 3rd party verifier completes data validation and verification. Verra issues carbon credits in their global registry.
Plan to add new practices
Our agronomic advisory team works with you to develop a holistic plan to achieve the best financial results, reducing carbon emissions and increasing soil carbon levels. You can decide whether to go forward with the proposed plan or choose your own practices.
Selling carbon credits
You don't have to worry about that. Together with our partner South Pole we ensure the sale of your carbon credits to corporate buyers and other organisations.
Implementing new practices
You will start implementing new practices on the farm, and eAgronom software will help you to record it.
All customer data collected on the eAgronom platform is stored securely and eAgronom does not share this information with third parties without permission.
